I am so happy to finally experience some pleasant weather. Although Scott disagrees with me and does not call 95 degrees pleasant, I have been enjoying the lower humidity. I happened to stumble across this pool for $3.74 on sale. I was not sure if Tink would really like it or not, especially since she is fully submerged when in her bathtub and grandmother's pool. I used a foot pump to help blow it up and eagerly filled it with warm water. Tink took to it immediately. The first day she was in and out of it 5 times, for the next several days she got in and out at least twice, usually three times. Now she only gets in it about once a day, I am not sure if that is more her or me, I keep the pool in the shade and she likes it really warm, so I have to drain the water by about 1/4-1/2 and add hot water to get it where she likes it. It is a lot of additional work to keep up with that five times a day. She is not a big fan of her bathing suits, she has learned to remove the two piece ones, so she will be getting to wear the one piece one to swimming classes. I admit it is easier to let her swim naked too, especially when she swims more than once a day, one less step. She is happy as can be naked in her pool. I hope she is this happy for swim classes. I am amazed at the fact she will already stick her face in the water. Her grandma Karin started teaching her how to blow bubbles and I continued it by putting my face in her small pool. All of a sudden she started doing it on her own. We love watching her grow up. Ten months is turning out to be a fun age. My favorite so far!Oh and she loves this pool so much I went back and got a second for $3.74 I figure, if anything happens to her pool we have a back up, if we can manage to make it last until next summer, well then she can give it away to her cousin or first cousin once removed to enjoy!
